Cathay Pacific is about to transform air travel with its new cabins on the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This update includes redesigned business, premium economy, and economy class sections, all aimed at improving comfort and the overall in-flight experience.
The first flights with these modernized cabins will start on October 18. The new layout features 361 seats: 45 in business, 48 in premium economy, and 268 in economy. In addition, Cathay Pacific now has four different configurations for the Boeing 777-300ER.
For business class passengers, the airline has introduced Aria suites, providing more comfort and privacy. These suites include luxurious finishes, wireless charging, a 24-inch 4K screen, and Bluetooth connectivity. Besides, travelers in business class will enjoy more privacy, thanks to the suite doors, creating a personal and relaxing space.
Meanwhile, premium economy passengers will also benefit from extra privacy, with seat dividers and dedicated lavatories. They will enjoy a 15.6-inch 4K screen with Bluetooth features. Similarly, economy class passengers will get better seat ergonomics, an improved entertainment system, and flexible headrests for added comfort.
Overall, the new cabins highlight Cathay Pacific’s commitment to innovation and passenger comfort. Beginning October 18, the upgraded Boeing 777-300ER will fly between Hong Kong International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport. Specifically, these flights will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on flight CX332, with returns on CX331.
Although the airline has not yet announced more routes for the 361-seat 777-300ER, its other 777-300ER aircraft will continue to serve important international routes. For instance, these planes will fly to major destinations, including Los Angeles and Vancouver from Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific’s new Boeing 777-300ER cabins set a new standard for long-haul travel, improving passenger comfort and raising expectations.
