United Airlines Expands Horizons with New Flights to Greenland and Senegal

United Airlines expands travel for U.S. passengers with flights to Senegal and Greenland. These routes enhance travel options for passengers, bringing Africa and the Arctic closer than ever. Bookings for the airlines’ latest international flights are now available.

United Airlines will begin direct flights from Washington D.C. to Dakar, Senegal, on May 23, 2025. Dakar, located on Africa’s west coast, boasts stunning beaches and rich cultural heritage. United will operate three weekly flights using Boeing 767-300 aircraft with multiple seating options. Tickets start at $970 one-way and about $1,100 for a round trip, with mileage options available.

United Airlines will also start twice-weekly flights to Nuuk, Greenland, on June 14, 2025. Nuuk’s new airport connects U.S. travelers to the Arctic, perfect for nature enthusiasts. United’s Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft will serve Greenland, offering seating for 150 economy and 16 premium passengers. Tickets start at $811 one-way, making Greenland easily accessible.

United leads U.S. airlines with the most flights to Africa, including routes to Morocco, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria. With Greenland on its map, United Airlines expands its global reach. Bookings are live, inviting travelers to explore new horizons with United Airlines.
