Vietjet strengthens its foothold in the international market by launching new routes to India and South Korea. Consequently, this ambitious expansion demonstrates Vietjet’s commitment to connecting Vietnam with Asia’s top travel destinations. After its successful Australian launch, the airline also boosts connections within Asia. Notably, it targets India and South Korea’s large travel markets, especially with the busy holiday season near.
Since 2019, the carrier has operated in India and now offers over 60 flights weekly across several routes. Specifically, this twice-weekly route operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Da Nang. Furthermore, it returns from Ahmedabad on Thursdays and Sundays, giving travelers a new way to enjoy Vietnam’s landscapes and Ahmedabad’s heritage. The first flight departed Da Nang on October 23 and successfully landed in Ahmedabad after a smooth journey.
Additionally, Vietjet connects key Vietnamese cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang to New Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, and Ahmedabad, thus establishing itself as a leader in linking Vietnam and India. Meanwhile, Vietjet’s well-established routes to South Korea have now reached new heights. Recently, the airline launched its 12th route to South Korea, connecting Nha Trang and Daegu.
This addition clearly shows Vietjet’s dedication to the South Korean market, where it operates more than 300 weekly flights. As a result, Vietjet introduces this nonstop service to streamline travel between the two popular destinations, offering flights seven times a week. For instance, Nha Trang, famous for its pristine beaches and resorts, and Daegu, known for its cultural appeal, provide unique experiences for travelers.
Vietjet expands its influence in Asia’s travel sector while showcasing its growth-oriented approach to route development. With rising demand, Vietjet positions itself as a top choice for international travelers who seek efficient and affordable flights across Asia.
