Latvia’s national airline, AirBaltic, has officially launched its winter 2024 season, adding nine fresh routes from its hubs in Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius. This expansion not only aims to enhance travel options for passengers but also reflects AirBaltic’s commitment to meeting growing demand.

On October 28, 2024, the airline celebrated its inaugural flight from Riga to the sunny destination of Madeira, Portugal. This scenic journey lasts approximately 5 hours and 55 minutes. Moreover, AirBaltic introduces several warm-weather destinations, including Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada in Egypt. Consequently, these locations offer an ideal escape from the winter chill.

For winter sports enthusiasts, AirBaltic’s new winter schedule includes routes to top skiing destinations like Innsbruck, Kittilä, and Oslo Torp. With these additions, travelers can easily access premier ski resorts and enjoy snowy adventures. Thus, this diverse range of options ensures that AirBaltic caters to various traveler preferences, whether for leisure or business.

Starting on October 25, flights will begin from Riga to Sharm El Sheikh, followed by Hurghada on October 26. The Riga route to Madeira commenced on October 28, while flights to Rzeszow in Poland will launch on November 8. In addition, the airline will debut a route to Innsbruck, Austria, on December 22.

From Tallinn, AirBaltic offers flights to Kittilä, Finland, beginning December 21. Furthermore, a new connection to Barcelona, Spain, will start on February 19, 2025. In Vilnius, AirBaltic introduces routes to Oslo Torp, Norway, on October 29 and Düsseldorf, Germany, on October 31.

With a vast network of over 130 routes, AirBaltic connects travelers across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region. This robust expansion not only reinforces the airline’s position as a key player in the Baltic aviation market but also enhances connectivity for both business and leisure travelers.
