Etihad Airways proudly welcomes back the Airbus A380 on the Abu Dhabi to Paris route. This iconic aircraft not only enhances travel options for passengers but also symbolizes a positive rebound in aviation. Once sidelined during the pandemic, it now resumes its journey with excitement.
On November 1, Etihad Airways restarted its A380 flights, thus offering unparalleled comfort and service to travelers. Flight EY31 took off from Abu Dhabi International Airport at 03:09 and landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 06:47, after a 6:38-hour flight. Moreover, this aircraft, a 2016 Airbus A380-800, has registration A6-API, showcasing Etihad’s commitment to excellence in air travel.
Furthermore, the return of the A380 signifies not only a revival for Etihad but also honors the aircraft’s European heritage. Specifically designed in Toulouse, France, the Airbus A380 has become a vital part of aerospace history, and its return to Paris is celebrated by many aviation enthusiasts.
With the A380’s reintroduction, Etihad Airways strengthens its service between Abu Dhabi and Paris. This move aligns perfectly with the airline’s strategy to enhance its European presence, as Paris remains a key destination in their global network.
In addition, to meet rising demand, Etihad Airways plans to add around 5,000 weekly seats to this route. Notably, the A380 increases capacity by 31%, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Additionally, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will join the service on January 15, 2025, further boosting connectivity.
These aircraft feature a luxurious three-class layout, ensuring an exceptional travel experience. The A380 accommodates 486 passengers, while the Dreamliner offers First Suites and Business Studios. Together, they significantly enhance travel between these two vibrant capitals.
