This major carrier not only has the biggest fleet in Asia but also connects to more than 40 countries worldwide. Moreover, China Southern Airlines maintains an extensive network, operating over 3,000 flights to 224 destinations across Europe, Oceania, North America, Africa, and Asia.

Among its impressive fleet, China Southern Airlines includes 28 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Specifically, the airline operates two versions: the smaller 787-8 and the mid-size 787-9. Notably, China Southern Airlines has ten 787-8s and 18 787-9s in service. Even though the airline has different variants, there are three configurations across these Dreamliners. On the Boeing 787-8, China Southern Airlines utilizes a 3-3-3 economy layout, accommodating 248 seats. Additionally, in business class, the airline offers 18 lie-flat seats arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration, which provides passengers with a comfortable experience. In contrast, the 787-9 provides greater flexibility with two configurations. For example, the first accommodates 276 seats divided into three classes: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Business class features 28 seats arranged in a 1-2-1 layout. Meanwhile, Premium Economy mirrors this arrangement but with a 2-3-2 configuration. On the other hand, Economy class offers 220 seats in a standard 3-3-3 layout.

Looking ahead to November, China Southern Airlines schedules an impressive 1,399 flights utilizing its Dreamliners. Of these, 1,002 are on the 787-9, while 397 are on the 787-8. This robust schedule includes significant international routes, connecting passengers to destinations like London, Istanbul, Dubai, and Auckland.
