Air Serbia Expands Routes with New Direct Flights

Air Serbia continues to grow. Recently, the airline announced new direct flights to popular destinations like Shanghai, Ibiza, Mykonos, and Sardinia. This expansion not only enhances service but also extends the airline’s operational network. In October 2024, Air Serbia transported 381,386 passengers across scheduled and charter services. This marks a 4% increase compared to October 2023. Furthermore, the airline, Serbia’s national carrier, operated 4,071 flights from its bases in Belgrade, Niš, and Kraljevo, which includes 49 more flights than last year.

During the first ten months of 2024, Air Serbia achieved significant milestones by exceeding 3.8 million passengers. This number indicates a 7% increase over the same period in 2023. With a consistent focus on expanding its reach and improving service, the airline has delivered impressive results every month.

In October, the airline celebrated its 30-millionth passenger since rebranding, marking a noteworthy achievement. Additionally, a new Airbus A330-200 aircraft for long-haul flights joined the fleet. This growth strategy includes expanding the fleet and diversifying destinations. As a result, the airline plans to introduce more direct flights to exciting locations, which will undoubtedly delight passengers.

Tivat and Podgorica ranked as the top regional destinations in October. Moreover, popular Western European destinations included Zurich, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Rome, Frankfurt, and Milan. In the Euro-Mediterranean region, travelers showed interest in routes to Larnaca, Istanbul, and Athens.

As Air Serbia continues to grow, its focus on enhancing passenger experiences and expanding the network remains a priority. This dedication promises exciting new opportunities for travelers.
