This week, Delta Air Lines launched a new partnership with Saudia, a SkyTeam member, to offer codeshare flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Saudi Arabia. The new service starts on November 13, 2024, and enhances travel options for passengers between the US and Saudi Arabia.
Delta now offers connections between Paris and Jeddah (JED) and Riyadh (RUH). Saudia operates daily flights on both routes, using Boeing 787s for Jeddah-Paris and Boeing 777-300ERs for Riyadh-Paris. This partnership gives passengers more travel options between North America and the Middle East.
Delta provides many flights from US cities like Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle to Paris. With this new partnership, passengers can easily transfer to Saudia flights to Jeddah or Riyadh, offering better travel choices and ease.
Saudia plans to add more routes to this partnership. They will offer direct services from Saudi Arabia to US cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. This will allow travelers to book one ticket for both legs of their journey, saving time and money.
Travelers will enjoy more flexible itineraries and smooth connections. They can also earn miles on both airlines. This codeshare agreement shows how international airlines collaborate to improve the passenger experience and expand travel options.
