Delta Air Lines plans to expand its network with frequency increases on several non-hub routes in 2025. The airline will enhance service between key cities and support growing demand. These changes also include capacity increases to Alaska and new routes.
Starting January 6, 2025, Delta will add a third daily flight between San Diego and Las Vegas. Currently, the route operates twice daily. Delta will operate these flights through SkyWest Airlines with Embraer E175 aircraft. This increase will offer more seating and flexibility for travelers.
Delta will also raise service between Raleigh-Durham and Orlando, boosting frequencies from three to four. This change begins in late February. By March, the airline will offer daily flights, except Saturdays. Delta will use a mix of regional and mainline aircraft, including Airbus A320s. This expansion will offer 234 flights in March.
The airline will increase service between Sacramento and Las Vegas on March 9. Delta will run three daily flights, providing 420 additional seats. SkyWest will operate these flights with 70-seat E175 aircraft.
Additionally, Delta will launch a new seasonal route between Detroit and San José on July 7. Delta will offer daily flights with Boeing 737-900ER aircraft. This new service links Detroit and Silicon Valley, offering easy travel for both business and leisure travelers.
These changes demonstrate Delta Air Lines’ commitment to improving its network and meeting growing demand.
