airBaltic reported a record profit and revenue increase for Q3 2024. The Latvian airline continues to lead the Baltic aviation market, driven by high passenger demand, expanded routes, and growing ACMI services.
In Q3 2024, airBaltic posted a net profit of EUR 40.3 million. This marks impressive growth despite regional economic challenges. Revenue for the quarter reached EUR 236 million, an 8% rise compared to last year. The growth stemmed from expanded routes and a strong summer travel season.
airBaltic’s performance continued into the first nine months of 2024. The airline grew its revenue by 13%, reaching EUR 575.3 million. It carried 3.8 million passengers, an 11% increase from 2023. Strategic investments in passenger experience, network expansion, and partnerships solidified its regional leadership.
airBaltic’s ACMI services now generate significant revenue, contributing 22% of total Q3 earnings. The airline leased up to 17 aircraft to Lufthansa Group carriers, showing its leasing expertise and reliability.
Looking ahead, airBaltic aims to maintain its growth. It will offer 140 routes by year’s end and partner with 24 codeshare airlines. The airline is boosting connectivity in the Baltic and beyond. Despite challenges, airBaltic is confident about its continued success and its positive regional impact.
