Air Canada will restart Toronto to Port of Spain flights to meet rising leisure demand. Starting May 1, 2025, this route will offer nonstop flights from Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) to Piarco International (POS) in Trinidad and Tobago. This expansion aligns with trends of airlines enhancing leisure-focused routes for increased vacation travel.
The Toronto to Port of Spain route will operate four times weekly, focusing on weekend travelers and remote workers. Air Canada’s Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft will serve this route with first-class and economy seats, ensuring comfort for all travelers.
This route’s late-night departures and early arrivals cater to young, flexible travelers. Air Canada Flight 984 will depart Toronto at 10:00 PM, reaching Port of Spain by 1:35 AM. Return Flight 985 leaves Port of Spain at 2:35 AM, arriving in Toronto at 8:25 AM.
This Toronto-Port of Spain service is part of Air Canada’s 2025 expansion. Additional routes will link various U.S. cities like Jacksonville and Cincinnati. Air Canada will also add European destinations, including Prague and Porto. With its new Toronto to Port of Spain route, Air Canada strengthens its presence in the North American market.
