Thailand celebrates a new milestone in tourism with the launch of direct flights from Rome to Bangkok by ITA Airways. This new route offers Italian travelers easier access to Thailand’s world-famous culture, beaches, and lifestyle. It strengthens ties between Thailand and Italy, benefiting both tourism and business.
ITA Airways’ inaugural flight AZ0758 landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport, marking the start of the new service. The route will operate five times a week, with flights from Rome departing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. This ensures easy connections for Italian travelers, bringing them directly to Thailand’s top attractions.
The new route highlights Thailand’s growing popularity as a leading global destination. It will boost both tourism and business exchanges between Italy and Thailand. ITA Airways’ commitment to better travel options meets the increasing demand for more international routes.
Thailand has already seen a 40% rise in Italian visitors in 2024 compared to last year. Many of these visitors are returning tourists eager to enjoy Thailand’s beaches, culture, and exceptional hospitality. This new flight service will attract even more visitors, further supporting this growth.
