Saudia is expanding its operations in India to attract 7.5 million Indian visitors annually by 2030. The airline aims to play a key role in supporting Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to transform the Kingdom into a global tourism hub.
Saudia has served Indian travelers for over 50 years. The airline operates 54 weekly flights to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, and Kozhikode. This network supports leisure, business, and religious travel, including Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
To support Vision 2030, Saudia is expanding its services. The airline is increasing flight frequencies and introducing innovative technologies to cater to more travelers. The new Travel Companion platform lets passengers easily book hotels, transportation, and activities, improving their experience. Saudia is also upgrading its AlFursan loyalty program. This update makes it easier for frequent flyers to earn rewards and access upgrades, boosting customer satisfaction.
Saudia’s growth supports Saudi Arabia’s broader economic goals. Saudi Vision 2030 focuses on diversifying the economy and reducing dependence on oil. Saudia’s efforts in India contribute directly to this transformation. Saudia is modernizing its fleet with 105 new aircraft.
