Discover Airlines is expanding its network with an exciting new route. Starting in winter 2025, the airline will offer direct flights twice a week from Frankfurt to the Seychelles. This new service, beginning on October 26, 2025, marks the airline’s first non-stop connection to this beautiful Indian Ocean destination.
The Seychelles, consisting of 115 islands, is famous for its pristine beaches, clear lagoons, and dramatic granite cliffs. Moreover, nature lovers will enjoy exploring its rich flora and diverse wildlife. In addition, divers and snorkelers can discover some of the world’s most stunning underwater ecosystems.
Flights will depart from Frankfurt on Tuesdays and Sundays at 9:55 PM. As a result, the aircraft will land at Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) at 10:45 AM the next day. With a flight time of about 10 hours, passengers will experience a smooth and relaxing journey. Additionally, the return flights will operate as night services, which gives travelers more time to enjoy the island paradise.
Furthermore, Discover Airlines is optimizing its Mauritius route. The airline will now ensure more convenient arrival times, with flights reaching Mauritius by midday. In addition, next winter, Discover Airlines will add another direct flight from Frankfurt to Mauritius, offering travelers greater flexibility.
This new route strengthens Discover Airlines’ portfolio and provides passengers with easier access to two of the most sought-after islands in the Indian Ocean. Moreover, the Seychelles route expands Lufthansa Group’s offerings, which were previously served exclusively by Edelweiss from Zurich.
By expanding into these tropical destinations, Discover Airlines solidifies its position as a leading carrier for dream getaways. With these new flights, passengers will enjoy seamless travel to the Seychelles and Mauritius, experiencing both islands with comfort and ease.
