Norse Atlantic Airways is changing its route network to boost frequencies for popular destinations. The airline is cutting its seasonal Oslo to Los Angeles service to shift resources to other routes. This move is part of a strategic plan for 2025.
The Oslo to Los Angeles flight, operating from May to September, will not return next year. Although Norse planned to resume it in May 2025, the flight is missing from its booking system. Instead, the airline will reassign its Boeing 787 Dreamliners to increase frequencies on other routes.
The Athens to New York JFK route will receive a boost. Initially set for mid-May 2025, it will now start earlier, in early May. The airline will also increase the number of weekly flights, reflecting stronger demand. Additionally, the Rome to Los Angeles route will see more flights starting in May 2025. Norse will use its Boeing 787-9 for these added services.
These adjustments highlight Norse Atlantic’s strategy to grow its network and meet demand. The airline is also adding new routes, including flights to Berlin and Bangkok, strengthening its global presence.
Norse Atlantic reported strong growth in November 2024. The airline hit a record 92% load factor, up significantly from last year. Its increasing passenger numbers and improved operational performance position it for a successful year. Norse continues to optimize its network, staying competitive in the industry.
