Aeromexico is expanding its service from Denver International Airport (DEN) to two popular destinations in Mexico: Guadalajara and Monterrey. This expansion celebrates a long-standing partnership between the airline and Denver, further enhancing connectivity between the two regions.
The new nonstop flights to Guadalajara will operate every Saturday through April 19, 2025. Meanwhile, Monterrey will be serviced with twice-weekly nonstop connections on Saturdays and Sundays until April 20, 2025. Aeromexico will operate these routes with its modern Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, ensuring a comfortable flying experience for passengers.
This expansion adds to Aeromexico’s current nonstop service to Mexico City, strengthening travel options between Denver and key Mexican cities. Over the years, the airline has contributed significantly to the growth of Denver’s international travel network, helping make Mexico a vital destination for local travelers.
The airline’s history with Denver dates back to February 1, 2009, when it launched its first flight between Denver and Mexico. Since then, Aeromexico has carried nearly 650,000 passengers, completing more than 5,600 flights. As Denver’s longest-serving Mexican carrier, Aeromexico has played an essential role in the increasing demand for travel between the two regions.
Travel between Denver and Mexico has surged recently. The demand has grown by almost 60% since 2019. Now, over 1.2 million passengers fly between the regions each year. Mexico represents 30% of Denver’s international traffic, more than any other country.
These new routes highlight Aeromexico’s commitment to meeting this growing demand, solidifying its position as a key player in connecting Denver with Mexico. The expanded service provides travelers with even more direct flight options, making it easier to explore Mexico’s vibrant cities.
