Turkish Airlines Unveils Cultural Heritage in the Sky

Turkish Airlines, known for providing exceptional travel experiences, now brings the cultural richness of Türkiye to passengers. The airline introduced the “UNESCO Türkiye Series,” a collection of amenity kits showcasing Türkiye’s UNESCO World Heritage sites. The kits draw inspiration from landmarks like Nemrut, Göbeklitepe, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Ani, and Troy. They offer passengers a glimpse into the country’s rich history and culture.

These kits reflect Turkish heritage, featuring ebru (Turkish Marbling) designs and traditional carpet motifs. Business Class passengers on flights lasting five to eight hours can enjoy this collection. Economy Class passengers traveling on longer flights will receive their version in mid-January.

Turkish Airlines combines luxury with cultural storytelling. The airline partners with the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO to present an innovative way to connect travelers with Türkiye’s ancient traditions. The airline ensures sustainability by using eco-friendly materials for eye masks, socks, and toothbrushes, including biodegradable cornstarch.

The kits contain items like hand lotion, body lotion, and lip balm from Ex Nihilo, a luxury fragrance house. These products complement the cultural theme, offering passengers a tactile connection to Türkiye’s past. Turkish Airlines leads the aviation industry by promoting sustainability and cultural preservation through its services.

With the “UNESCO Türkiye Series,” Turkish Airlines enhances passengers’ in-flight experience. The kits help preserve and share Türkiye’s ancient treasures. They blend modern luxury with traditional artistry, ensuring every flight offers a journey through time.
