Vietnam Airlines is transforming its international offerings for the Northern Summer 2025 season. From March 30 to September 29, 2025, the airline will launch new routes, resume key services, and upgrade its fleet to better serve passengers. Consequently, these changes highlight Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to meeting growing travel demands and expanding its global reach.
A major feature of the updates is the return of previously suspended routes, which emphasizes the airline’s focus on regional connectivity. For instance, the Hanoi–Kuala Lumpur route will resume with three weekly flights starting April 1, 2025. Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City–Hong Kong route will restart with daily operations from March 30, 2025, thereby restoring crucial links in Southeast Asia.
Moreover, Vietnam Airlines will expand its European network by launching a new route connecting Hanoi and Milan Malpensa on July 1, 2025. This service, offering three weekly flights, aims to strengthen the airline’s presence in Europe while catering to both business and leisure travelers.
These updates clearly highlight Vietnam Airlines’ focus on both regional and long-haul markets. Notably, the Da Nang–Bangkok route, with four weekly flights, boosts short-haul travel options. Meanwhile, the Hanoi–Milan Malpensa route showcases the airline’s ambition to expand its international footprint.
Overall, Vietnam Airlines’ strategic updates will enhance connectivity, improve passenger experiences, and support the airline’s growth in key markets. As travel demand rises, these changes position Vietnam Airlines as a pivotal player in global aviation recovery and expansion.
