Japan Airlines (JAL) will expand its international routes in 2025. It will focus on key destinations like Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Okinawa, Nagoya, Narita, and Haneda. JAL plans to introduce daily flights and seasonal connections. This move will enhance travel options and boost connectivity across Asia.
JAL will strengthen its U.S. presence by launching a Tokyo Narita–Chicago route on May 31, 2025. This partnership with American Airlines will improve connectivity between Southeast Asia, India, and North America. The airline aims to meet the rising demand for transpacific travel.
Japan Transocean Air will start a Naha-Taipei route, providing more regional travel options. JAL will increase frequencies on Narita-San Diego and Narita-Bengaluru routes. It will also add twice-daily flights on the Osaka Itami-Misawa route. The Boeing 787-8 will serve the Tokyo Haneda-Miyako route, enhancing both international and domestic travel.
JAL will use the Airbus A350-1000 for the Haneda-Paris route starting May 1, 2025. It will also offer First Class service on select domestic routes. These changes aim to improve passenger experience and support environmental sustainability with efficient aircraft.
