Ryanair Expands London Routes with New Destinations for 2025

Ryanair, the UK’s top low-cost carrier, will expand its London operations for Summer 2025. The airline adds seven new routes from London Stansted, including Bodrum, Dalaman, and Reggio Calabria. This expansion brings more affordable travel options and easier access to European hotspots. Along with new destinations, Ryanair will increase flight frequencies on 30 existing routes, including Gdansk, Ibiza, and Rome.

This move highlights Ryanair’s focus on improving regional connectivity and travel opportunities across the UK. It aims to serve both leisure and business travelers. The airline adds a new Boeing 737 to its London fleet, expanding services to meet rising demand. This growth represents a $100 million investment in London, also creating 30 new jobs.

Ryanair’s expansion arrives as the UK plans a rise in Air Passenger Duty (APD) taxes. In 2026, short-haul flights will face a £2 increase per passenger. Experts worry this hike may hurt the UK’s competitiveness. Budget-conscious travelers may choose destinations with lower aviation taxes, like Spain or Portugal.

Ryanair’s new routes bring global travelers exciting options. Affordable flights to Bodrum and Dalaman will now be easier to access. This expansion strengthens Ryanair’s position in affordable European travel, offering more choices for exploring London and beyond.

Looking ahead, Ryanair will continue pushing for lower aviation taxes to fuel growth. With new routes and better connections, the airline will make international travel more affordable and accessible.

Ryanair’s investments and growth plans for 2025 will offer more choices at lower prices for travelers across the globe.
