Icelandair is launching seasonal flights to Miami starting in October 2025, offering travelers a unique opportunity to escape to Florida during the winter. The airline will operate flights three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—until March 2026. This new route links Reykjavik’s Keflavík International Airport (KEF) with Miami International Airport (MIA), providing direct access to the vibrant city of Miami, a popular winter destination.
The addition of Miami to Icelandair’s winter schedule marks an exciting expansion of the airline’s North American network. This service will enhance travel options for passengers heading to Florida’s warm climate, and it will also offer U.S. passengers greater access to Iceland and connections to Europe. As Icelandair continues to grow its presence in the U.S., the airline demonstrates its commitment to offering seasonal routes that cater to both leisure and business travelers.
Miami’s strategic position as a gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean makes it a valuable addition to Icelandair’s route map. The airline now has more flexibility to serve travelers who want to explore both Florida and Europe. The move strengthens Icelandair’s competitive edge in the busy winter travel market, especially as Miami serves as a major hub for tourism and business.
The travelers can take advantage of the airline’s Stopover Program, which allows them to explore Iceland for up to seven days without paying extra airfare before continuing their journey.
With the launch of this seasonal service, Icelandair is set to meet the increasing demand for winter getaways, further solidifying its presence in North America.
