Singapore Airlines Just Made a Game-Changing Move for a Cleaner, Greener Future

Singapore Airlines advances sustainability by partnering with Aether Fuels for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The airline will secure SAF from Aether once commercial production begins. Aether will build production facilities in Southeast Asia and the United States.

The agreement covers five years, with an option to extend. SAF will blend with jet fuel before delivery to Singapore Airlines and Scoot airports. Aether’s Aurora™ technology improves efficiency, lowers costs, and increases SAF output.

Aether uses waste carbon feedstock to produce SAF, cutting greenhouse gas emissions. The company’s projects will follow CORSIA standards, reducing emissions by 75%. This supports Singapore Airlines’ goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Venture firm Xora supports Aether, which expands in Southeast Asia and Chicago. The company focuses on large-scale SAF production for cleaner aviation. This partnership strengthens Singapore Airlines’ leadership in sustainable fuel innovation.

The collaboration speeds up SAF adoption and supports global sustainability. By using advanced technology, Singapore Airlines reduces its environmental impact. This move shows how airlines can cut emissions while improving operations.

Singapore Airlines continues to lead in SAF adoption. Its commitment to cleaner fuel supports greener air travel worldwide.
