Turkish Airlines Launches Largest International Lounge at Tokyo Narita

Turkish Airlines has opened its largest international lounge outside Turkey at Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT). The lounge offers a spacious, comfortable area, welcoming up to 105 passengers in its first phase. It blends Turkish hospitality with Japanese elegance, enhancing the travel experience.

Located in Terminal 1 near Gate 47, the lounge spans 800 square meters. Once the second phase is complete, the space will expand to 1,500 square meters. The lounge is open daily from 07:30 to 21:45. Miles&Smiles Elite Plus members, Star Alliance Gold members, and business or first-class travelers can access the lounge.

The lounge features a wide variety of cuisines, including Turkish and Japanese dishes. A special Turkish pide oven serves freshly baked pide during lunch and dinner. Other amenities include relaxation areas, daybeds, VIP rooms, showers, and accessible restrooms. Passengers can also enjoy complimentary WiFi, flight information screens, and a dedicated workspace.

With the new lounge, Turkish Airlines now operates seven lounges in global hubs such as Bangkok, Miami, New York, and Washington. The expansion at Tokyo Narita strengthens its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and provides greater convenience for travelers connecting through Istanbul Airport.

Though Turkish Airlines operates only five weekly flights to Tokyo Narita in February, it plans to increase frequency to daily flights from March to December. The lounge’s opening marks a key milestone for both Turkish Airlines and Tokyo Narita Airport, offering more benefits to passengers traveling through the airport.
