Breeze Airways Expands with New Crew Base at Akron-Canton Airport

Breeze Airways is set to expand its presence by opening a new crew base at Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) this summer. As the airline continues to grow, this move will strengthen operations and improve convenience for travelers. Since demand for Breeze Airways keeps rising, this expansion comes at the perfect time.

Moreover, the new base will create over 60 jobs for pilots, flight attendants, and maintenance personnel within the next three years. By stationing aircraft at CAK overnight, the airline will enhance scheduling efficiency and improve overall connectivity. As a result, travelers can expect more seamless flight options in the near future.

Since launching services at CAK in June 2021, Breeze Airways has steadily increased its flight offerings. Currently, it operates direct and one-stop flights to several popular destinations, including Charleston, Las Vegas, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Raleigh. Consequently, more passengers now have access to affordable and convenient air travel.

In addition, Ohio officials recently approved tax credits for this expansion, which is expected to generate approximately $11 million in local payroll. This financial boost will further stimulate economic activity in the region. Not only will new jobs emerge, but the local community will also benefit from increased business and tourism opportunities.

Furthermore, Breeze Airways has earned several industry recognitions, securing a spot among the best domestic airlines and winning top-tier passenger experience awards. Thanks to its modern Airbus A220-300 fleet, passengers enjoy premium seating and high-speed WiFi, ensuring comfort and efficiency during their travels. Additionally, the airline’s flexible booking system, fee-free changes, and seamless app-based services make traveling even more convenient.

Overall, this expansion at Akron-Canton Airport marks a major step forward for Breeze Airways. Not only does it benefit travelers, but it also creates job opportunities and boosts the local economy. Ultimately, the airline remains committed to providing “Seriously Nice” service while continuing to grow.
