LOT Polish Airlines achieved remarkable success in 2024, setting new records in passenger growth, fleet expansion, and financial performance. As a result, the airline carried 10.7 million passengers, launched new routes, and expanded its fleet to 86 aircraft. With strong financial results, the airline further strengthened its position in European aviation.

Notably, the airline reported its second-best financial performance in decades. Despite growing competition and lower fares, it still maintained high profitability. Moreover, LOT Polish Airlines generated PLN 9.93 billion in revenue and posted a net profit of PLN 688.5 million. By optimizing its network and expanding charter operations, the airline significantly boosted its earnings.

Furthermore, LOT Polish Airlines expanded its fleet with new Boeing 737 MAX-8 and Embraer jets. This upgrade not only enhanced efficiency but also helped the airline complete over 107,000 flights, covering 148 million kilometers. At the same time, the airline introduced eight new international routes, increasing connectivity from Warsaw Chopin Airport. Popular destinations included Tashkent, Riyadh, Lyon, and Tenerife. Meanwhile, London, Vilnius, and Bucharest remained top short-haul routes, while New York, Toronto, and Chicago continued to dominate long-haul travel.

Additionally, domestic demand surged, with flights to Kraków, Wrocław, and Gdańsk seeing significant passenger growth. In the same way, the airline expanded its charter flight market by increasing available seats and collaborating with major tour operators. Consequently, this strategic move solidified its status as Poland’s leading leisure airline.

As Poland develops Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK), LOT Polish Airlines is preparing to become its primary carrier. This upcoming hub will not only strengthen Poland’s aviation connectivity but also align with the airline’s ambitious growth strategy. Meanwhile, passenger experience improvements continued, with upgrades in in-flight service, crew uniforms, and business lounges.

With financial stability, a modernized fleet, and expanded routes, LOT Polish Airlines is well-positioned for future success. Therefore, the airline continues to evolve, offering better services and strengthening its position in global aviation.
