Akasa Air is strengthening its global presence by launching a direct route between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi. As part of its broader strategy, the airline continues to expand connectivity across key international destinations. With this new route, travelers can now fly nonstop between the two cities, making journeys more convenient and efficient.
The inaugural flight from Bengaluru will depart from Kempegowda International Airport at 10:00 AM IST and land at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi at 12:35 PM AST. At the same time, Akasa Air is introducing another direct service from Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi. This flight will take off at 10:45 PM IST and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 1:00 AM AST the next day. By adding these routes, the airline is making travel easier for passengers heading to the Middle East.
Previously, Akasa Air launched its Mumbai-Abu Dhabi route in July last year. Since then, the airline has been steadily expanding its global footprint. Now, with the latest additions, it is further strengthening its presence in the region. As a result, travelers have more choices when flying internationally. Moreover, this expansion positions Akasa Air as a strong competitor in the international aviation market.
For budget-conscious travelers, Akasa Air provides an alternative with a layover in Mumbai. A one-way economy ticket on this option costs ₹15,000, while a nonstop flight from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi is priced at ₹60,505. With both premium and affordable choices available, the airline ensures flexibility for different passenger needs.
In addition to expanding its network, Akasa Air is also focusing on accessibility. To support visually impaired travelers, the airline now offers Braille versions of its safety instruction card and onboard menu. This inclusive approach highlights its commitment to providing a comfortable and welcoming experience for all passengers.
