airBaltic continues to grow its Pilot Academy, welcoming 15 new students to its latest training group. These students have now started their journey to earn commercial pilot licenses through an intensive training program. As the aviation industry expands, airBaltic remains committed to preparing skilled pilots for the future.
Notably, this new group of students comes from several countries, including Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, and Sweden. This international mix proves that the academy attracts talent from across the world. Because of this, airBaltic has strengthened its reputation as a global leader in aviation training.
Right now, 163 students are actively training at the academy. Additionally, more than 10% of the student body consists of female trainees, showing the school’s commitment to diversity. Since its founding, 131 graduates have successfully joined airBaltic, adding to its growing team of skilled pilots. Clearly, the academy plays a key role in shaping the airline’s future.
To further improve training, airBaltic has introduced a second Airbus A220 full-flight simulator. With this advanced tool, students receive hands-on experience before stepping into a real cockpit. Moreover, the simulator supports the airline’s expanding fleet, ensuring that new pilots are ready to operate the latest aircraft.
