Singapore Airlines is strengthening its UK presence by upgrading its London Gatwick to Singapore route. Starting 31 March 2025, the airline will offer daily flights, replacing the current five-weekly schedule. This expansion highlights the rising demand for long-haul travel between the UK and Asia-Pacific.
The airline will operate these flights using the Airbus A350-900, known for its efficiency and passenger comfort. The journey from London Gatwick to Singapore will take approximately 13 hours. Travelers will enjoy seamless connections through Singapore Changi Airport to key destinations in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
This expansion is part of Singapore Airlines’ broader strategy to enhance connectivity between Europe and Asia. The airline now operates 40 weekly flights between the UK and Singapore, including daily departures from London Heathrow and five weekly flights from Manchester.
The decision to increase flights reflects the growing demand for international travel. Business and leisure travelers will benefit from greater flexibility and more options when flying between these regions. Singapore Changi Airport, a major international hub, ensures smooth transfers for passengers heading to Asia-Pacific destinations.
Singapore Airlines remains committed to delivering world-class service while strengthening its global reach. By increasing flight frequency, the airline enhances travel convenience and supports growing tourism and business exchanges between the UK and Asia.
