Cathay Pacific has resumed its direct flight service from Hyderabad to Hong Kong, marking a major step in its India expansion strategy. The airline now connects Hyderabad and Hong Kong with three weekly flights. These flights operate every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, providing more convenience for travelers and enhancing trade opportunities.
This resumption strengthens Cathay Pacific’s presence in India. The airline now serves five cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The direct flights increase travel options between India and Hong Kong, a major aviation hub. These flights also help travelers connect to East Asia, the Southwest Pacific, and North America.
Hyderabad benefits from the new connection due to its fast-growing economy. The flights improve tourism and create more business opportunities, especially in industries like pharmaceuticals and electronics. The airline also provides additional cargo capacity, allowing for the faster transport of perishables and important documents.
Cathay Pacific operates this service with an Airbus A330-300, offering both Business and Economy class options. This is part of the airline’s plan to expand operations in India. By September 2025, Cathay Pacific will operate 43 weekly flights across India. The airline’s return to Hyderabad shows the city’s importance as a global travel hub, supported by its expanding airport infrastructure.
This route’s return highlights Cathay Pacific’s commitment to strengthening ties between India and Hong Kong, fostering more business interactions and cultural exchanges.
