Qatar Airways strengthens its presence in Canada by rapidly expanding its Toronto route. The airline already flies to Montreal. It started flights to Toronto in December 2024. Since then, it added more frequencies to meet growing demand. Therefore, starting June 19, it will operate five weekly flights. Then, on October 26, daily flights will begin. As a result, this boosts air connectivity between the two countries.
This expansion supports Qatar Airways’ strategy to increase its global footprint. Moreover, the new daily flights create smooth travel for business and tourism. Each flight departs Doha early morning and lands in Toronto in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the return flight leaves Toronto at night and lands in Doha the next day. Qatar Airways uses Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for this route. In addition, these jets feature advanced onboard Wi-Fi for a modern travel experience.
The airline launched its Montreal route in 2011 and quickly grew it into a daily service. Over time, it carried millions of passengers between Montreal and Doha. Now, Toronto joins the spotlight as Qatar Airways pushes further into North America. Furthermore, the airline already runs over 100 weekly flights to U.S. cities. These include New York, Dallas, Miami, and others.
Toronto acts as a key center for business, culture, and tourism. Consequently, with more flights, Qatar Airways deepens its impact in the Canadian market. It offers better flight availability and an improved customer experience. Additionally, the airline has grown its reach in South America. It recently announced routes to Bogotá and Caracas. These flights will use 777-200LR jets and include stopovers before returning to Doha. In conclusion, Qatar Airways continues to lead in global air travel by offering more routes and greater convenience.
