Air Transat, a leading Canadian airline, expands its 2025-2026 winter routes. Starting December 13, 2025, Air Transat will offer non-stop flights between Montreal and Guadalajara, Mexico. Additionally, Air Transat will extend its seasonal Montreal-Madrid route, offering year-round service starting February 18, 2026.
The new Montreal-Guadalajara service will provide two weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays. Guadalajara is renowned for its mariachi music, tequila, and cuisine, offering travelers an authentic experience. The city stands as a vibrant alternative to the usual Mexican tourist spots, with its rich culture and historical landmarks.
As demand for unique destinations grows, Air Transat meets travelers’ needs by offering direct flights to Guadalajara. This route helps travelers explore a culturally rich location that is becoming increasingly popular. Guadalajara is now recognized for both leisure and business travel.
The Montreal-Madrid route will also operate year-round. Starting February 18, 2026, travelers can fly to Madrid twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays. Madrid offers a mild winter climate and stunning cultural heritage, making it an attractive destination during the off-peak months.
By expanding services to these two popular destinations, Air Transat provides travelers with more flexibility. These new routes enhance travel options to Mexico and Spain, making them more accessible year-round for Canadians. The airline strengthens its presence in these high-demand markets while meeting travelers’ evolving needs.
