Delta is transforming Seattle into a powerful global travel hub. Starting in May 2026, Delta will launch nonstop flights from Seattle-Tacoma Airport to Rome and Barcelona. As a result, travelers gain easy access to two major European destinations.
Additionally, Delta will use Airbus A330-900neo aircraft on both routes. These planes offer Delta One suites with flat beds and premium meals. Delta Premium Select also provides extra space and upgraded amenities. Consequently, the airline strengthens its transatlantic network and boosts Seattle’s global reach.
Moreover, Delta plans to open two luxurious lounges at Seattle-Tacoma Airport. The Delta One Lounge includes an outdoor terrace with views of Mt. Rainier. Meanwhile, the upgraded Delta Sky Club gives travelers more space and stylish comfort. Both lounges reflect Seattle’s natural scenery, with warm colors, wood accents, and local art.
To enrich the lounge experience, Delta features dishes inspired by Pacific Northwest cuisine. Guests can enjoy seafood, fresh local ingredients, and seasonal desserts. For beverages, Delta offers coffee from local roasters and a curated selection of West Coast wines. Therefore, passengers can relax and enjoy a true taste of Seattle before boarding.
Importantly, Delta remains committed to sustainability. Over 87% of its core aircraft in Seattle run on electric power. Additionally, Delta uses smart lighting, eco-glass, and reusable materials in the new lounges. These upgrades align with Delta’s long-term environmental goals.
Overall, Delta connects Seattle to over sixty destinations and operates nearly 180 flights daily. Through these enhancements, Delta boosts comfort, expands access, and champions green innovation. In turn, Seattle rises as a key global gateway.
