Malaysia Airlines expands India flights with daily Trivandrum–Kuala Lumpur services by December 2025. The airline responds to rising demand from Indian travelers and strengthens its network across Asia. Since launching the route in late 2023, Malaysia Airlines has steadily increased flight frequency.
Currently, the airline runs four weekly flights on this sector. However, from September 2025, it will add a fifth weekly service. By December 1, flights will operate daily. These upgrades improve options for both business and leisure travelers across the region.
Furthermore, passengers will benefit from smoother connections through Kuala Lumpur. This airport offers direct links to East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. With more flights, travelers can now plan flexible trips between India and Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines also partners with Kerala Tourism to push the “Look East” campaign. This partnership targets stronger travel flows between Kerala and East Asian countries. Additionally, it helps boost tourism and promote local culture across borders.
Moreover, the airline’s moves support its broader vision for the Indian market. With growing demand, Malaysia Airlines strengthens its footprint and deepens ties with South Indian travelers. These daily flights make it easier to explore Malaysia or connect to cities beyond.
As a result, this expansion reinforces Kuala Lumpur’s status as a key Asian hub. Travelers can now rely on consistent schedules, better connectivity, and added convenience. Therefore, Malaysia Airlines stays committed to supporting both trade and tourism through strategic growth.
In fact, by increasing flight availability, the airline ensures travelers get more options and comfort. These upgrades will likely drive more tourism and enhance cultural exchange between India and Malaysia.
