Qatar Airways will expand its network in October 2025 by launching new flights to The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the airline will operate three weekly services from Doha, connecting this emerging hub with over 170 destinations. Therefore, this expansion strengthens Qatar Airways’ role in Saudi Arabia while boosting tourism and business opportunities worldwide.
Additionally, the new flights support the airline’s broader strategy to grow across the Kingdom. Currently, Qatar Airways operates more than 130 weekly services, and this route adds another crucial gateway. Consequently, passengers from Asia, Europe, and other regions can enjoy faster and more direct connections to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, The Red Sea continues to rise as a luxury travel hotspot. It features over 90 islands, vast desert scenery, and one of the world’s largest reef systems. Furthermore, Shura Island now welcomes visitors with luxury resorts, fine dining, and diverse activities. As a result, travelers can combine natural beauty, adventure, and cultural richness in one unique destination.
In addition, flights will serve Red Sea International Airport, which opened in 2023 with modern desert-inspired design. The airport expects to welcome millions of passengers, and therefore it strengthens Saudi Arabia’s tourism infrastructure. Managed by daa International, it already delivers modern services and smooth experiences for international travelers.
Finally, Qatar Airways continues to build its reputation as a global leader in aviation. With award-winning service, extensive connectivity, and ambitious expansion, the airline consistently offers travelers world-class experiences. Thus, the new Red Sea flights highlight its mission to link Saudi Arabia with the world.
