The two carriers will integrate their systems while keeping their individual brands, offering passengers a smoother and more connected journey across the Pacific and beyond. This collaboration aims to deliver upgraded cabins, better seating options, and more personalized choices for every traveler.
Beginning in April 2026, passengers will enjoy lie-flat seats on select long-haul routes. These upgraded cabins on Alaska’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Hawaiian’s Airbus A330 will provide enhanced privacy, direct aisle access, and large HD screens. Flyers will also gain access to premium lounges such as Alaska Lounges and Honolulu’s Plumeria Lounge, ensuring a luxurious experience before and after each flight.
Shorter trips will see their own transformation. Both airlines will refine their First Class experience with wider seats, priority boarding, and elevated dining. Travelers flying Premium Class can enjoy more legroom and complimentary drinks without paying First Class prices. Even economy passengers will benefit from the rebranded Main Cabin Preferred section, which allows faster exits and better seat locations.
Budget travelers can expect greater value through the unified Saver Fare. The fare will include carry-on luggage, flexible seat selection, and partial refunds for cancellations made in advance. This change ensures that affordability does not compromise comfort or convenience.
The integration will launch for bookings in October 2025, with flights operating under the new system starting in April 2026. With expanded seat options, simplified booking, and consistent service standards, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are reshaping what passengers can expect from modern air travel. The merger promises a smoother, more enjoyable flying experience from check-in to arrival.
