United Airlines is preparing for a major expansion at Chicago O’Hare International Airport in 2026. The airline will add five new gates and launch ten domestic routes. The expansion will link Chicago with smaller but growing cities across the country. United Airlines will start year-round flights to Santa Barbara, Monterey, Eugene, Paducah, Lynchburg, and St. George. As a result, passengers can reach more U.S. destinations through O’Hare’s vast network.

At the same time, United Airlines plans to expand its international reach. Starting in November 2025, it will resume flights from Chicago to Tel Aviv with four weekly departures. In addition, the carrier will make its Dublin route available year-round to meet high travel demand. Similarly, flights to West Palm Beach will now operate daily throughout the year.
