Emirates Makes Kenya Closer Than Ever — A Third Daily Flight to Nairobi Opens New Horizons

Emirates expands its presence in Kenya by adding a third daily flight to Nairobi. Consequently, Kenya strengthens its global connections and improves travel options for tourists and business travelers alike. Starting March 1, 2026, the airline will operate 21 weekly flights between Dubai and Nairobi, offering better flexibility and seamless links to major international destinations. Furthermore, the additional service supports Kenya’s growing tourism sector and boosts trade by providing extra passenger capacity and cargo space.

The new flight enhances connectivity to Europe, the U.S., and other key markets. Moreover, travelers gain more convenient early morning departures and arrivals, making it easier to reach London, Paris, Rome, and New York. Emirates uses Boeing 777 aircraft for this route, featuring luxurious First Class cabins exclusively on this flight. As a result, the extra service accommodates both leisure and business passengers, delivering comfort and convenience.

Emirates responds to rising demand on its Nairobi route, which has experienced consistent growth. In addition, the new flight increases cargo capacity by 280 tonnes weekly, benefiting exports of fresh produce, flowers, and other temperature-sensitive goods. This expansion also strengthens the partnership between Emirates and Kenya Airways, enabling smoother connections across East Africa to destinations such as Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Burundi.

Since launching flights to Nairobi in 1995, Emirates has carried over 6.6 million passengers to and from Kenya. Meanwhile, the airline continues to attract travelers from Asia, Australia, the U.S., and Europe, while outbound traffic from Kenya remains strong. Furthermore, the additional flight boosts Emirates SkyCargo operations, enhancing Kenya’s role in global trade.

With this expansion, Emirates reinforces its long-term investment in Africa and demonstrates commitment to Kenya’s tourism and trade growth. Therefore, travelers can book flights through emirates.com, the Emirates app, retail stores, and travel agencies, securing seats with greater flexibility and choice.
