Fly Qatar Airways’ New A380 to Singapore — The Ultimate Upgrade with Collins Diamond Business Class

Qatar Airways has announced the expansion of its services between Singapore and Doha. Starting in mid-January 2026, the airline will operate the Airbus A380 on its QR947/948 route. The new service will run daily until March 2027. This significant change brings higher capacity and consistent luxury to a key international route.

The A380 will now operate year-round on the Singapore-Doha route, replacing the Boeing 777. The Airbus A380 offers more than 500 seats in a multi-class configuration. This larger capacity will meet the growing demand for both business and leisure travel.

Passengers flying on the A380 will experience the Collins Diamond Business Class seat, replacing the Qsuite. While Collins Diamond offers comfort and space, it lacks the privacy of the Qsuite. However, passengers can still book other daily flights where the Qsuite is guaranteed.

This move highlights Qatar Airways’ commitment to its Singapore market. By operating the A380, the airline strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia. The expansion also boosts Singapore’s position as a major global aviation hub. The added capacity will also support business and tourism growth between Singapore and Doha.

Qatar Airways continues to prioritize luxury services while focusing on operational efficiency. This move reaffirms the airline’s position as a global leader in air travel. Passengers can expect improved connections and a seamless travel experience.
