Air Astana is making bold moves in the Middle East by launching new routes to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Jeddah. This expansion strengthens the airline’s presence in key international markets, offering more travel options between Kazakhstan and the Middle East.
New Destinations in Air Astana’s Growing Network
Starting 26 October 2024, Air Astana will begin flights from Atyrau to Dubai. On 30 October, a new route from Astana to Abu Dhabi will follow. Finally, services from Almaty to Abu Dhabi will start on 12 December. These flights will operate twice weekly using advanced Airbus A321neo and A321LR aircraft. These planes offer superior comfort, fuel efficiency, and long-range capabilities.
Meeting Growing Demand for Middle Eastern Travel
The expansion addresses rising demand for travel between Kazakhstan and the Middle East. Business travelers, tourists, and pilgrims need more flexible travel options. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are top choices for leisure and business trips. Jeddah, on the other hand, serves as a vital hub for those traveling to Makkah for religious pilgrimages.

These new routes complement Air Astana’s existing services, which include 20 weekly flights from Almaty and Astana to Dubai.
