Delta Air Lines is expanding its global network with a major milestone. The airline is launching its first-ever nonstop flight from Salt Lake City to Seoul, connecting travelers from the Mountain West and Southwest U.S. directly to Asia. This new service, beginning in June 2025, will be the only direct link between Salt Lake City International Airport and Seoul-Incheon International Airport. Moreover, it will boost Delta’s regional presence, offering seamless connections across Asia.
Starting on June 12, 2025, Delta Air Lines will operate this route using its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft. Travelers will enjoy not only the modern features of this aircraft but also the recently upgraded terminal at Salt Lake City International Airport. Additionally, the spacious Delta Sky Club adds extra comfort, ensuring a smooth experience for both business and leisure travelers. Furthermore, this route provides convenient connections to key Asian destinations.
Delta Air Lines is further solidifying its position as the leading carrier in Salt Lake City. This new nonstop service marks its fifth U.S. route to Seoul. The airline already connects Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Seattle to the South Korean capital. Thanks to its partnership with Korean Air, Delta now offers access to Seoul from 14 U.S. cities, creating one of the most extensive networks across Asia through Incheon. Consequently, this partnership strengthens Delta’s trans-Pacific alliance, enhancing connectivity between the U.S. and Asia.
At Salt Lake City International Airport, Delta remains the top carrier. It operates nearly 250 daily flights to over 90 global destinations. Delta further extends its dominance in the region with this new route to Seoul. Moreover, the airline continues to offer international connections to cities like Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Mexico City. Ultimately, this latest addition ensures Delta stays the top choice for long-haul travelers.
