Air Astana is set to boost international travel with a direct route from Almaty to Da Nang, starting June 4, 2025. This move strengthens connections between Kazakhstan and Vietnam while offering seamless travel between the two regions. Moreover, the airline will operate this route twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using the Airbus A321LR.
This expansion eliminates layovers, ensuring a faster and more convenient journey for travelers. Furthermore, the flight will take 7 hours and 10 minutes, providing direct access to Vietnam’s scenic coastline. Since Air Astana already flies to Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, this new addition reinforces its growing presence in Vietnam.
Kazakhstani travelers can enjoy visa-free entry to Vietnam for up to 30 days, making trips easier and hassle-free. Additionally, the new route allows tourists and business travelers to explore Da Nang, known for its stunning beaches and cultural landmarks. For instance, visitors can experience the Marble Mountains, the iconic Dragon Bridge, and the famous Golden Bridge at Bana Hills. Besides that, Da Nang serves as a gateway to Hoi An and Hue, two of Vietnam’s most historic cities.
Air Astana continues to expand its international network, offering more flight options to meet growing travel demand. As a result, this new route aligns with Vietnam’s rising popularity among Kazakhstani tourists. By strengthening its presence in the region, the airline supports tourism, trade, and business opportunities between the two nations.
The airline provides competitive pricing, with economy class fares starting at $717 and business class fares from $1,991. Therefore, travelers can book tickets on Air Astana’s official website or through authorized travel agencies. With this direct flight, Air Astana ensures a smooth, time-efficient, and comfortable journey for passengers heading to Vietnam.
