Air Astana has launched a new nonstop flight connecting Atyrau in Kazakhstan to Tbilisi, Georgia, simplifying travel between the two destinations. This exciting development reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its regional connectivity. Starting May 27, 2025, the service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, offering passengers a more convenient travel option between Atyrau and Tbilisi.
With this new route, Air Astana ensures a swift and seamless journey. The flight, KC125, will depart Atyrau International Airport at 08:00 AM and land at Tbilisi International Airport in just 1 hour and 50 minutes. Additionally, the return flight, KC126, will leave Tbilisi at 10:40 AM and arrive in Atyrau at 12:40 PM. This makes the travel experience faster and more efficient. Furthermore, passengers can expect comfort, as the airline uses modern Airbus aircraft for this route.
Beyond this new Atyrau-Tbilisi flight, Air Astana continues to expand its network. The airline already offers flights from Atyrau to cities like Istanbul, Dubai, and Amsterdam. As a result, with the addition of Tbilisi, Air Astana’s total weekly flights to Georgia’s capital will now increase to 15, further enhancing its regional presence.
In addition, Kazakhstan citizens can take advantage of visa-free travel to Georgia for up to one year. This policy makes Georgia a particularly attractive destination for both business travelers and tourists. Consequently, the new route will not only support leisure travel but also facilitate greater business opportunities, providing passengers with more flexibility and convenience.
Air Astana’s expansion is part of its broader strategy to strengthen its regional and international connectivity. As the airline continues to grow, it remains focused on offering high-quality service while making travel more accessible for passengers across Kazakhstan and beyond.
