Air Canada will roll out fast, free Wi-Fi for Aeroplan Members in May 2025. Bell sponsors the service, which will first be available on flights within North America and select Sun destinations. The airline plans to extend it to long-haul international flights in 2026. This upgrade highlights Air Canada’s commitment to offering top-notch connectivity.
Aeroplan Members will enjoy the service free of charge. Non-members can purchase Wi-Fi at a reduced price. Customers can also sign up for Aeroplan online to access the benefits. The Wi-Fi will be available on Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, and most Air Canada Express flights. More than 85% of the fleet will have Wi-Fi from day one. Air Canada will complete the remaining installations in 2025.
This free Wi-Fi will be available on regional Air Canada Express Q400 aircraft, including those flying from Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport. The Q400 aircraft will be the first regional plane with this upgrade. Air Canada will start installing Wi-Fi on these planes in 2025, completing the first phase by year’s end.
Along with Wi-Fi, Air Canada is improving the in-flight experience. Passengers will enjoy premium snacks, meals, and beverages. They will also have access to a variety of in-flight entertainment. The airline’s app offers real-time baggage tracking and digital identification, enhancing the customer experience. These efforts show Air Canada’s dedication to providing a connected, comfortable journey.
Air Canada’s free Wi-Fi for Aeroplan Members sets a new standard for in-flight connectivity. The service will help passengers stay productive, entertained, and connected throughout their journey.
