Air France Boosts Travel with Game-Changing Rail Perks

Air France is redefining seamless travel by strengthening its partnership with SNCF Voyageurs. In 2025, both companies celebrate 30 years of collaboration, enhancing passenger convenience with new benefits. This alliance has consistently promoted low-carbon mobility by making airport access easier via high-speed rail. Now, travelers can convert Flying Blue Miles into digital vouchers for TGV INOUI tickets, marking a significant step toward integrated, sustainable travel.

For the first time, Flying Blue members can use loyalty Miles for SNCF Voyageurs e-vouchers through the Flying Blue Store. Available in values from €25 to €100, these vouchers apply to ticket purchases across the TGV INOUI network. Previously, Flying Blue Miles covered award flights, sustainable aviation fuel, and donations. Now, they offer a new way to travel efficiently while reducing carbon footprints.

Since 1995, Air France and SNCF Voyageurs have worked together to bridge air and rail travel. The ‘Train+Air’ service has grown from 28 routes in 2022 to 41 routes in 2025, a nearly 50% expansion. Today, 22 train stations in France provide direct connections to major airports like Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. A fully digital booking system ensures passengers enjoy streamlined travel.

Passengers booking ‘Train+Air’ receive a single ticket covering both train and flight. If delays occur, automatic rebooking guarantees a hassle-free journey at no extra charge. Over 600,000 travelers have used this service since 2019, with routes like Lyon, Lille, and Strasbourg seeing the highest demand. Many passengers continue their trips to North America and the Caribbean.

Air France and SNCF Voyageurs remain committed to improving intermodal travel. By integrating Flying Blue Miles into the rail network, they offer a more sustainable and efficient way to travel. Their focus on innovation ensures passengers enjoy seamless connections without compromising convenience.
