Air France is increasing nonstop flights from Phoenix to Paris to five times a week, starting in May 2025. This expansion follows the successful launch of the route in May 2024. Initially offering three flights weekly, the new schedule clearly shows growing demand for the connection.
This route, which is the first nonstop link between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport, continues to grow in popularity. Consequently, Air France upgraded from a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner to a Boeing 777-200 during the winter season, increasing capacity to 328 seats from the Dreamliner’s 279. In addition, the airline will use the Airbus A350-900 in the summer, which features 324 seats, including 34 in Business Class. Furthermore, the new aircraft offers better amenities, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
The change in flight frequency and aircraft size clearly reflects the route’s success. Starting May 5, 2025, flights will depart Paris at 10:45 a.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 12:50 p.m. Additionally, return flights from Phoenix will depart at 3:05 p.m. and arrive in Paris at 10:10 a.m. The Airbus A350-900 features 34 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 266 Economy Class seats, ensuring greater comfort for all travelers.
Moreover, this expansion will also positively affect the local economy. It will contribute $103 million annually, which represents a significant increase from the initial $70 million. Phoenix Sky Harbor remains a major international hub with nonstop flights to London, Frankfurt, and other destinations. Therefore, this expansion further strengthens Phoenix’s position in the global travel network, offering more international connections for passengers.
