Air India is reviving air travel between India and China with its nonstop Delhi-Shanghai flights. The service will start on February 1, 2026. This marks the airline’s return to mainland China after nearly six years. The route comes at a time when ties between the two nations are improving. Air India will operate this route four times a week. The plane features 18 Business Class seats that lie flat and 238 Economy Class seats. Shanghai becomes the 48th destination in Air India’s network. This service will serve as a vital link for Indian businesses and tourists traveling to China.
