Air India Unveils Free In-Flight Wi-Fi on All Routes

Air India has changed the travel experience by introducing free high-speed Wi-Fi on domestic and international flights. Passengers on select aircraft, like the Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9, and some Airbus A321neo, can now enjoy seamless connectivity. This makes Air India the first airline in India to offer in-flight Wi-Fi on domestic flights.

Passengers can stay connected during their flights for business, leisure, or to reach loved ones. They can browse the web, use social media, and complete work tasks. The service works on smartphones, tablets, and laptops, whether running on iOS or Android.

The service began on international flights and quickly gained popularity. Now, it’s available on domestic flights, too, covering global routes like New York, London, Paris, and Singapore. During the introductory phase, Air India offers the Wi-Fi service free of charge. As demand rises, the airline will expand this service across its entire fleet.

To connect, passengers should turn on Wi-Fi, select the ‘Air India Wi-Fi’ network, and open the onboard portal. They can log in using their PNR and last name. The service activates once the aircraft reaches cruising altitude above 10,000 feet, ensuring a smooth connection.

With this upgrade, Air India gives passengers a better flight experience, helping them stay connected and productive.
