Air Transat partnered with Air Europa to improve its service from Canada to popular Spanish destinations. The new interline agreement connects the two airlines, offering easier access for Canadian travelers to Spain’s vibrant cities.
This collaboration strengthens Air Transat’s presence in Spain, enabling passengers to fly from Canada to Madrid. From Madrid, they can reach cities like Bilbao, Ibiza, A Coruña, Las Palmas, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife, and Vigo without any complications. Air Transat operates up to four weekly flights to Madrid between April and October, connecting passengers smoothly with Air Europa’s extensive domestic network.
Spain remains a top destination for Canadians, and this partnership makes travel more convenient. Air Transat offers easy ticketing, direct check-in, and luggage transfer to the final destination. The airline also protects travelers in case of delays or cancellations, ensuring a better overall experience.
The Spanish market is important to Air Transat, and this agreement represents a major step in expanding its reach in Europe. Travelers can now book tickets for this expanded service, available since February 12. Air Transat’s routes from Montreal to Spain continue to cater to the demand for direct and convenient travel to the European country.
Alongside Air Transat, Air Canada and WestJet also fly to Spain. However, this interline agreement improves convenience for Air Transat’s travelers. With more Canadians heading to Spain, Air Transat’s partnership with Air Europa offers a competitive advantage.
