AirAsia is making significant strides in expanding its domestic presence in Thailand. Starting from October 2025, the airline will introduce two new direct flight routes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, connecting travelers to Chiang Rai and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Consequently, AirAsia aims to improve connectivity and offer travelers more options to explore the country’s diverse regions.
These new routes will operate with two daily flights to Chiang Rai and one daily flight to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Additionally, AirAsia continues to focus on providing affordable, reliable travel options for both leisure and business travelers. With fares starting from as low as 900 THB one-way, it is easier than ever for travelers to plan their trips and enjoy the beauty of Thailand’s less-explored destinations.
Moreover, by launching these routes, AirAsia strengthens its already extensive domestic network. The airline operates a total of 41 domestic routes, including connections from major hubs such as Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi Airports. As a result, this expansive network enables easy access to key cities as well as emerging travel hotspots in Thailand, further fostering economic growth and promoting tourism.
Looking ahead, travelers can also expect even more convenience as AirAsia continues to expand in Thailand. Starting in July 2025, direct flights will be available to Buriram, Narathiwat, and Surat Thani. This steady growth in operations offers travelers greater flexibility in planning their trips and discovering new destinations within the country.
In conclusion, AirAsia’s commitment to affordable travel is evident with its ongoing promotion for the new routes. As the airline strengthens its domestic footprint, it continues to make air travel accessible to a broader range of passengers, ultimately contributing to the growth of Thailand’s tourism industry.
