airBaltic has launched direct flights between Vilnius and Prague, creating faster travel options between the Baltic and Central Europe. This new route, starting in May 2025, runs twice weekly and shortens travel time, benefiting both tourists and business travelers. airBaltic designed this connection to meet growing demand and strengthen regional links.
For more than two decades, airBaltic has improved air travel from Vilnius, making the city a vital Baltic hub. The airline now opens a new corridor to Prague, helping around 20,000 annual travelers avoid long layovers. This connection enhances economic ties and tourism between Lithuania and the Czech Republic. Alongside the Vilnius route, airBaltic already connects Prague with Riga, expanding choices across its expanding network.
During the busy summer season, airBaltic offers numerous direct flights from Vilnius to major European cities. Its modern Airbus A220-300 fleet ensures comfort and efficiency, featuring spacious seats and advanced technology. Additionally, passengers enjoy free high-speed internet through SpaceX Starlink, a first for European airlines, keeping them connected throughout the flight.

To support this growth, it expands schedules and adds routes such as Tallinn to Reykjavík and Palma de Mallorca. It also extends seasonal flights to Düsseldorf and launches new services to Tirana.
By launching the Vilnius–Prague flight, airBaltic strengthens its role in connecting the Baltic region with Europe’s core. This route offers travelers a direct, convenient option while stimulating tourism and business activity.
